Well, it might be that your Roblox account got hacked.

A hacked account in Roblox is a common occurrence.

Many people are trying to find out your password to steal all your goods.

But users can regain access to their account and not lose a single thing if they act fast.

How to Know if Your Roblox Account Is Hacked?

Let’s start by making sure you got hacked and you just didn’t forget your password.

If you notice any of the following, a hacker is to blame:

Your password and billing email address are correct and you can’t log in.
Your account’s inventory has changed.
Your Robux balance changed.
Different Roblox username.

Sadly, there is no way to recover lost items.

So you need to be fast if you don’t want to see your whole inventory lost.

Pro Tip

You can try to ask for Robux refunds after your Roblox account was hacked.

However, you’ll need to prove you are the original account owner by recovering said Roblox account.

There is no guarantee that you’ll get them back.

How to Get Your Account Back on Roblox?

There are only 2 ways to recover a hacked account, to reset your password or to contact the customer support team.

A hacked Roblox account has only a small window of time to recover it before the hacker changes the password.

Once Roblox accounts are hacked, hackers will milk all of the items and Robux on them.

It’s almost impossible for a hacked Roblox account to get back into its previous state.

But as we mentioned before, there are a few exceptions, but you’ll need to contact Roblox directly.

If you have a hacked Roblox account, here is what you’ll need to do:

Reset Your Roblox Password

The easiest way to recover your account with your username intact is to reset your Roblox password.

To recover an individual account, do:

Step 1: Go to this Roblox website: roblox.com/login/forgot-password-or-username
Step 2: Enter the first email address used to create your Roblox account.
- It has to be the one used for the very first payment you made.
Step 3: If the hacker hasn’t changed the email address, then you are done!

However, if the hacker has changed the email address added to the account, you’ll need to use your phone number.

Step 1: On the same page, click “use phone number” to reset the password.
Step 2: Enter your number and click submit.
Step 3: Enter the code.

After either method is done, you’ll receive either an email and click reset password.

From your phone number, click the link that Roblox will send you.

Now, create a new password, make sure it is a strong password.

Once you log in and access the Roblox account hacked, do take more security measures so it doesn’t happen again.

Note:

Hacked accounts are only able to do a one-time recovery. If your account was hacked again, there might be no way to recover it other than a password change.

Otherwise, your Roblox account might be banned.

You’ll need to contact Roblox support.

Step 1: Go to Roblox Support: https://www.roblox.com/support
Step 2: Provide your contact information.
- It’s the contact information you provided when you created your account.
Step 3: Write the details of the issue.
- That includes all the details on how you think you lost your account.
- Select the category of the report “Account hacked”.

After you contact customer service, you’ll need to wait a bit before they get back to you.

Usually, it’ll take a day or two to recover your Roblox account.

When playing Roblox, it is important to be careful.

There are many scammers out there.

If you ever see one on chat, use the report abuse feature on the platform.

Always report players attempting to ask for Roblox account information.

If you recently got hacked, do a virus scan to make sure there is no malicious software on your computer.

That should remove harmful files that could have caused the issue.

You should change your Roblox username as well. As that might prevent any further attempts to hack you on the site.
