How to Make a Lectern in Minecraft

Before you go to the crafting grid, remember that there are other ways to find Lecterns in this world.
Natural Generation
You can find an empty Lectern by going to village libraries. Typically, you will find only one Lectern, but this might change depending on the version of the library you are visiting in Minecraft.
Materials You’ll Need for the Lectern Recipe
There are two main ingredients to make a Lectern in the crafting grid:
- One Bookshelf;
- Four Wooden slabs.
So, how do you find the Wood Slabs? First, it’s important to mention that you can use any type of wood, from Oak Wood to Acacia wood if you want.
Once you find enough wood, put three logs in a row to create the required Wood Slab, as shown in the image below:
Now, let’s make a book. All you need is leather and three pieces of paper - easy peasy! Put the paper in the crafting menu as shown in the following image:
We are still not done! It’s time to make a Bookshelf. To make a bookshelf, you will need three books and two Wooden planks. Put each book in the middle row, and the job should be done:
