You need two main items in order to craft a Spyglass: two copper ingots and one Amethyst Shard. Since these items are not common, you might not be familiarized with them.

Worry not - follow these step-by-step instructions and you will know how to find copper ingots and Amethyst Shard in no time.

Step 1: Find the Required Materials

As we mentioned before, you need Copper Ingot, and Amethyst Shard in order to craft Spyglass.

1. Mining Amethyst Shards

In order to find Amethyst Shards, you need to mine an Amethyst Cluster using Silk Touch.

Mining any Amethyst Clusters will give you two Shards or more than you can use later on.

2. Crafting Copper Ingots with Copper Ore

There are two main ways to obtain Copper Ingots:

• Go to the crafting menu a craft an ingot by using a single Copper Block;
• Smelt raw Copper Ore on a furnace and you will receive the ingot you are looking for.

Step 2: Go to the Crafting Table

After you obtain the required materials, you will need to go to the Crafting Table in Minecraft.
