Is this possible?

Obviously, private chats are a fundamental feature that encourages communication between users.

This way, you can message someone about whatever you want.

So, it makes sense to want to delete a message, and you should be free to do it whenever you want.

Can You Delete Messages on Roblox?

Let’s go straight to the point here - no, you can’t delete messages on Roblox, at least not messages sent by other users.

Roblox is pretty clear with it on their website - you can only delete a message sent from the System on your inbox.

Users can’t delete messages - instead, they need to get them archived.

When you sign in to Roblox and get access to hundreds of games, you will note that this community is heavily driven by a young audience.

Sure, you can Private Chat on Roblox by sending a request after looking for the username of another person, but it makes sense for the company to prevent users from deleting a visible message.

Archive Messages or Delete System Messages

It would be awesome to delete a message via settings by using a separate button, but it isn’t possible.

There’s a Safe Chat on Roblox that everyone must respect the moment they access or visit the web site.

Roblox Corp wants to create a secure site where all users are protected from fraud and suspicious activity on their chat.

That’s why all the comments and each message you send on the chat need to go through this filter and are monitored by the platform at all times.

Some users even ask for the implementation of an edit button which someone can simply click or tap to change the meaning of a message.

Nonetheless, it’s highly unlikely that we get to experience a delete or an edit button for an inbox message on Roblox.
