So, you can’t delete a group, and other group members can’t as well, but there’s something you can do: change settings and remove everyone from the group.

You can only change settings on your groups from the web version of the game and not from Roblox mobile.

Step 1: Tap on the Group’s Menu

First and foremost, you need to have group ownership to do what we are about to show you.

Log in to Roblox, and, in the left bar, open the menu of your group.

Step 2: Go to Group Members

Now, go to the Members tab. There, all the users that have joined your group will be shown on the screen.

Step 3: Remove Each Group Member

You need to remove each member manually. Continue until the last member gets deleted from the group.

Yes, it will maybe take a while, but it is the only way to do so.

Step 4: Change the Group Privacy to “Closed”

Once you have removed all members, you need to change the privacy group to “Closed.”

This way, you will prevent other users from joining the group, since the group will hide for users outside it.

Step 5: Delete Group Details

Delete group information, such as descriptions and even the images. Leave everything as empty and void as you can.

Step 6: Select Leave Group

Once there are no members left, and you have deleted the group’s info, select “Leave Group.” Your group will be forgotten for eternity!

What Happens After You “Delete” a Roblox Group?

The group won’t be deleted, but it will remain inactive forever (unless you decide to reactivate it).

We know this isn’t the same as entirely deleting it, but it is your best shot.

Perhaps someday, a “Delete” option will be implemented, but there’s still a long way to go before that.
